Edmonton City Centre – 12 Days of Giving – contest rules
$1500 Daily Giveaway
Combined same-day receipts must total $50 (before tax) to be eligible for one entry into the $1500 a day giveaway. For every $50 spent in one day, the customer will receive one entry. There is no limit to the number of entries.
Receipts must be taken to Guest Services (Street Level EAST) in Edmonton City Centre to be validated in order to be considered a qualifying purchase. Note: ECC Gift Cards are considered a qualifying purchase.
Shopping and receipt validation must take place on the same day and will only be eligible during the promotion period of December 13-24, 2021.
Non-qualifying purchases include:
- lottery/gaming
- parking
- online purchases
- purchases using gift cards
- purchase of retailer gift cards
- returns or exchanges
Prizes
$1000 daily giveaway will be in the form of an Edmonton City Centre gift card to be spent only at participating ECC retailers. There is no expiry on the gift card. The $500 for charity will be a cash donation to The Mustard Seed unless otherwise directed by the winner. If selecting another non-profit, it must be a registered charity within Alberta and approved by Edmonton City Centre.
Winners will be randomly selected the next morning on weekdays and on the following Monday for weekend purchases. Winners will be notified via email/phone call and will have 24 hours to respond with a confirmation that they will claim their prize. The prize must be picked up at Guest Services within 7 days of initial contact. The prize cannot be accepted on behalf of anyone else. The winner must come in person and ID will be verified by Guest Services. All winners must sign a release form and answer a skill testing question at Guest Services upon pick-up. Failure to abide by any of these rules will result in ECC redrawing a new winner. By accepting the prize you are acknowledging that ECC will announce your first name on their digital platforms. ECC will also take and share a photo of you and other daily winners once a week during the campaign period, with your permission.
You must be an 18+ Canadian resident in order to be eligible to enter the 12 Days of Giving contest.
Guest Services has the right to refuse entry or disqualify any participant that attempts to undermine, disrupt or otherwise affect the operation of the 12 Days of Giving contest.
No Purchase Method
A customer can request to enter the giveaway once during the promotion period (December 13-24, 2020) without making a purchase. One entry form can be requested at Guest Services and will require your contact information and consent.
