Dallas LaRose – Dallas LaRose invokes a modern approach to marrying figurative and abstract works. Her work is inspired by textiles, fashion, and nature. Her practice is rooted in strikingly bold colours smeared gesturally across the canvas to create a new depth to the otherwise two-dimensional work.

You can find her work in a Pop-Up Gallery on Street Level near Hudson’s Bay and beside Spasation for the entire month of December, opening date is December 3, 2018.

VignettesThe Vignettes Design Series presented by Avenue Magazine is an interdisciplinary event that brings together local designers, artists, and makers to bring their best in collaboration and creation to co-create amazing environments. This unique pop-up experience will be taking place here in Edmonton City Centre on Street Level West. Come out and check out Vignettes with your co-workers or team! Whether it’s during your lunch break, after work, or with your entire office, we’d love to have you discover, play and explore over 18 immersive art installations built by over 40 Edmonton Creatives.
