DECEMBER 2019 HOLIDAY EVENTS

Join us anytime between 11:30am – 1:30 for each of our Holiday Events for 2019. Everyone is welcome to our FREE events on December 3 and December 10, in support of Access 24/7.

The Addiction & Mental Health Access 24/7 clinic located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital provides a single access point for addiction and mental health services serving the entire Edmonton zone. Community support allowed for the creation of this new single access point for addiction and mental health services to open its doors, but the need for help doesn’t stop here. Give today to support access to addiction and mental health care for all who need it. Donations can be made at our events on December 3 or 10 or directly HERE.

 

DECEMBER 3 – ELEVATE & CELEBRATE

Edmonton City Centre will kick off the 2019 Holiday season with our 3 year anniversary celebration of Elevate Food Fare at Top Level.

  • Aerial bartenders serving FREE mocktails
  • Stilt walkers serving FREE food samples
  • Donate to Access 24/7 to get a swag bag, photo booth keepsake photo, and a ballot entry for exciting prizes including a hotel package, hockey game tickets, or a gift basket.

 

DECEMBER 10 – HOLIDAY HEART MARKET

Come visit our holiday market with select retailers for holiday gift giving ideas on Street Level near the Telus store.

  • Art installation to be unveiled in support of Access 24/7
  • Holiday market retailers will have gift ideas, samples, swag, plus contests to enter
  • More chances to donate to Access 24/7 for a swag bag and ballot entry into more exciting prizes including another chance for the hotel package, two more chances for hockey game tickets, and another gift basket.

 

Holiday 2019 Charity – Access 24/7 

This season we are welcoming donations to our charity of choice, Access 24/7, a centralized service program in partnership through the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation and the Mental Health Foundation for mental health support & assistance. This service is available to everyone and we support mental health programs and awareness that benefit our community. The Addiction & Mental Health Access 24/7 Clinic located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital provides one point of access to mental health, and addiction supports 24 hours a day, seven days per week for patients and families who need it most.

December 9 – 24 – Holiday Gift Wrap Shoppe

We will have our Holiday Gift Wrap Shoppe back in Elevate Food Fare at Top Level for the holiday season. Need to wrap a holiday gift you just bought? Save time and support a good cause! All donations will be in support of Boyle Street Community Services.

December 26 – FREE PARKING all day (East Parkade Only)

Come shop, watch a movie, or grab some food on Boxing Day – we have FREE parking for you ALL DAY in our East Parkade. Located on 102A Ave between 100 St and 101 St.

 

Glow Gardens

For the Holiday season, Glow Gardens is back in Edmonton! Tickets are selling fast and are available for purchase at: https://bit.ly/37k8w4P. Christmas Glow first launched in 2017 near Vancouver, Canada, and guests were captivated by the event. Two years later, Glow’s become one of the world’s largest indoor Christmas festivals, brightening up 10 cities in 3 countries. Join the joyous 1.6 million guests ready to Glow and celebrate the warmth of the season! It’s all the magic and wonder of an outdoor festival, hosted inside our cozy and spacious venue. The Edmonton Glow event includes light gardens, illuminated structures, a vendor market and interactive activities and playgrounds for the entire family.  The theme for 2019 is “Glow Around the World where you can explore lighted trails, stroll through festive city streets and marvel at illuminated historical landmarks as you discover themed rooms in China, India, Holland, Mexico, France, and England. Travel the “Glow world” to collect stamps from each of these countries and earn a prize after collecting all 6. Edmonton City Centre retailers will be featured in the vendor market for holiday gift shopping ideas.
