Please note, at approximately 6:30pm this evening, the West Retail fire alarm sounded and smoke was discovered prompting an evacuation of West Retail.  Upon investigation from Paladin security and Edmonton Fire Department, the source of the smoke was found in a back hall in the West Preferred Parkade, and EFD have given the all-clear.

As a result of this incident, smoke filtered into the common area of West Retail, therefore, fans have been placed and the HVAC system will run for the duration of the evening in order to combat this.

For those tenants located in West Retail, there may be delays in accessing your mailboxes, further updates to follow as we continue to assess the damage to this area.
