Subject: Mandatory face coverings at Edmonton City Centre

Starting Friday, September 3, 2021, the City of Edmonton  bylaw was passed that states mandatory face coverings must be worn in all indoor public places and public vehicles. This applies to the publicly accessible areas of business, retail shops, City of Edmonton facilities, and includes transit, transit centers and LRT platforms.

We are committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all our customers, tenants and contractors. Edmonton City Centre will be enforcing this bylaw to the best of our ability

As a result, anyone who enters Edmonton City Centre (including TD Tower, 102A Tower and Centre Point Place) is required to wear a face covering at all times in all common areas and back of house areas. If they do not comply, security will ask them to leave site.

If you have any visitors, employees, contractors or delivery personnel entering our site, the responsibility is on the tenant to communicate in advance that face coverings must be worn. Please note that if this is not adhered to, there may be a possible delay in work or deliveries, if that person is asked to leave.

Edmonton City Centre is by nature a high traffic, indoor business and we all must do our part to ensure the safety of ourselves and those around us. If we are all accountable for our tenancies and the people who enter our doors, we will reduce risk and mitigate any potential issues that could arise otherwise. Edmonton City Centre’s business continuity is imperative to each and every one of us, so we are appreciative of your support and ambassadorship in this endeavour.
