Subject: Parkade Payment Changes; West Parkade & Bay Preferred Parkade
Please note, as of today, the Edmonton City Centre West Parkade and Bay Parkade has changed from a barrier, post-payment facility to a barrier free pre-payment system.
What this means for you is outlined below, pertaining to both transient parkers and monthly parkers,
Transient Parkers
Upon entering the site, drivers will be instructed to purchase a ticket from one of the machines located in all elevator lobbies in the West Parkade, or in the elevator lobby or Dollarama entrance in the Bay Preferred Parkade. Please ensure that you remember the licence plate and pay for your parking before leaving your vehicle. Vehicles who have not paid for their parking will be found in violation and will be issued a ticket. The pay machines accept coins and all major credit and debit cards.
Monthly Parkers
Monthly parkers will need to display their parking hang-tags at all times to avoid receiving a violation and being issued a ticket. Access cards for either the West Parkade or Bay Preferred Parked should be returned to the WestPark parking office located on P2 of the East Parkade.
