Subject: Tenant Advisory; COVID-19

Following Premier Jason Kenney’s announcement yesterday afternoon, Alberta is now in a State of Public Emergency due to Covid-19 and additional measures have been announced. Please visit https://www.alberta.ca/enhanced-public-health-measures.aspx for the full list of new measures.

Access & Hours

At this time, there will be no changes to Edmonton City Centre’s operational hours and we will continue to provide easy access to customers and tenants.

We will however be in contact with the neighbouring buildings to discuss their intentions on access to their respective properties; this may impact pedway hours. Additional information will be shared once available.

ECC Management Office

Edmonton City Centre Management Office will be open Monday to Friday 10am-noon and 1pm-3pm. During this time, the property management team will continue to be on a rotated schedule and there will be no face-to-face meetings.

Should you need to contact any of the team, please see the attached ECC – Contact List (Nov 2020)

Cleaning

Our custodial team will continue with their current cleaning schedule, and seating throughout the property will remain out of service to avoid gatherings, with the exception of Elevate.

Elevate

Elevate Food Fare gates will follow the operating hours of the Tenants and our Concierge service will be present during these hours. Food trays have been removed since March and custodial staff will continue to conduct their regular cleaning. A portion of the tables will be out of use to avoid overcrowding, and the tables will remain at least 6’ apart. While we cannot determine who is classed as living in the same household, signage will be placed on each table to educate patrons of the new measures introduced.

Curbside Pick Up

We understand that curbside pick up may be a great benefit to a majority of tenants. We are currently working on options available to us to facilitate an East Retail and West Retail curbside pick up area. Additional information will be shared once available.

Masks

The State of Public Emergency supersedes the mask exemption Bylaws and we will be enforcing the use of masks within the common areas. Due to priority of incidents and limited security, we would appreciate that should you see a visitor not wearing a mask, please contact Central Services at (780) 426-8441 so a Security Agent can be dispatched.

Retail Stores

Additional floor vinyls stickers have been ordered and will be placed in front of tenancies to assist with line-ups, especially as we head into the holiday season. Edmonton City Centre urges all tenants to clearly outline their store’s capacity. For ease, you are welcome to use the attached template, StoreCapacityTemplate_ECC
