Here are the events taking place in our mall this month for your reference. You are welcome to attend any of these and also please be informed in case any customers enquire.
Thursday, March 14 – JOY RIDE
6:00am – 6:00pm
We are hosting in our mall on Lower Level by the LRT entrance. This 2nd annual 12-hour bike-a-thon is in support of Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta. Come support a great cause and bike for an hour with a team (pick your own time slots). Edmonton City Centre will be there with a team to support this great cause and we hope you will join us! Get your friends or colleagues together to have fun – together we can give sick kids a fighting chance, renew their strength, and change their lives. For info or to register go to yegjoyride.com. Saturday, March 16 – CBC EDMONTON OPEN HOUSE
11:00am – 3:00pm
CBC Edmonton is having a family-friendly Open House event on Saturday, March 16. with a tour through the radio and TV studios. Kids have a chance to play in their very own inflatable studio and with felt boards from Becca’s Bunch. The CBC hosts will be on hand to answer questions and share with you what it’s like behind-the-scenes. They will walk you through some very important CBC Edmonton history, and you can meet some of their most popular radio columnists. Don’t forget to stop at their selfie station and snap a pic. The first 150 people through the newsroom will receive an exclusive CBC Edmonton swag bag!
Sunday, March 17 – PROSTATE CANCER CANADA – STEP UP
8:00am – 12:30pm
We are hosting the Step Up Challenge for Prostate Cancer Canada in our mall on St. Patrick’s Day. This stair climbing relay event will take place in office towers in the downtown core.
Climb some of the best tall towers in downtown Edmonton with the Step Up Challenge. You and your team will be racing up stairwells to raise funds towards helping those affected by prostate cancer. Teams of five will be challenged to climb 5,000 feet while raising a minimum of $5,000. Register today and throw down the gauntlet as you challenge your colleagues to stair-climb to the top! The towers in the downtown core that are participating are Oxford Tower, MNP, TD Tower, Manulife Place, Enbridge and Bell Tower.
Wednesday, March 20 – INTERNATIONAL DAY OF HAPPINESS
11:30am – 1:30pm
Elevate Food Fare
We are celebrating International Day of Happiness with some amazing prizes and another opportunity to donate to our friends at Boyle Street Community Services. Come by our table in Elevate Food Fare and with a donation to Boyle Street (who will onsite with us at our table to celebrate happiness!) you can enter to win either a hockey game night package OR an ECC gift card! You will also get a keepsake Polaroid pic and everyone (whether you donate or not) is welcome to write a happiness message to hang on our Spring heart. Everyone is welcome to participate – come by and say hello!
