> Scheduled Escalator Maintenance
Please note, in an effort to keep safety top of mind, a scheduled clean down for the West Retail, Main Level to Concourse Level escalator will commence on Monday, July 15 and will resume normal service on the morning of Friday, July 19.
> Elevate Food Fare: Grease Traps
Please note, our vendor, HQLC, performed grease trap cleaning within the Elevate Food Fare Tenancies. As such, it was noted that a large number of the grease traps exceeded the 25% rule as per the City of Edmonton Drainage Services Bylaw. As a reminder, grease must be removed from grease interceptors on a monthly basis, or more frequently if 25% of the grease interceptor volume is grease.
Please be advised that HQLC will be visiting Tenancies on a monthly basis, or more frequently depending on usage, to ensure we remain in line with City Bylaws. You can reduce fog and solids in the grease traps by wiping greases and sauces into the garbage before cleaning, and ensure that there are strainers in the sinks to catch solid particles.
