—————

Elevate Filter Change; Feb 26th

Please note, on Wednesday February 26th from 6pm, Edmonton City Centre HVAC team will require access to all Elevate tenancies to change filters.

Should a member of staff not be on site to give access, please ensure keys to your tenancy are dropped off at Central Services at 12pm on Wednesday, February 26th.

Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact John Pietrasz at jpietasz@edmontoncitycentre.com

Epcor Flow Monitoring; Grease Traps

As of March 1st, Epcor will be monitoring drainage from Edmonton City Centre for fats, oils, grease and solids (FOGS), which are commonly generated when cooking, processing and/or preparing food. After this time, should there be FOGS within the drain lines from the property, Epcor will charge the property, which will be passed on to tenants.

To prevent an increase in CAM cost, we will be visiting all tenants with food and beverage products who will require a grease trap or should have a grease trap installed. As per the City of Edmonton Drainage Services Bylaw 18100, grease traps should be cleaned on a monthly basis, or more frequently if FOGS exceed 25%.

Grease trap cleaning providers include, but are not limited to, HQLC, Suck-U-Sump, Cannesco and Walker Environmental. We encourage all Tenants to seek recommendations and quotes from multiple companies to make an informed decision on a provider.

Scheduling maintenance for the grease traps is the responsibility of the Tenant.

Edmonton City Centre will require pictures of the grease trap before and after the maintenance, along with a picture or scan of the log book on a monthly basis. Please ensure these documents are sent to Bob Portieous, Operations Supervisor, at bportieous@edmontoncitycentre.com

Should this information not be provided, a service provider will be scheduled by Edmonton City Centre and an invoice with applicable administrative fee will be issued.
