Dear Valued Tenant
We have a marketing opportunity for you to contribute prizes or coupons and showcase your brand with several events coming up within the next month.
- February 28 – March 1 – Teacher’s Convention
The Greater Edmonton Teachers’ Convention is a two-day conference that will be held at the Shaw Conference Centre (5-minute walk via pedway access from Edmonton City Centre) with hundreds of teachers and teaching professionals in attendance from across Edmonton and area. To show our teachers and teaching professionals our appreciation, Edmonton City Centre will have a table on the Lower Level of Edmonton City Centre East from February 28 and March 1, 2019 from 10AM to 2PM with prizes and information about our mall. For this event, we are expecting to connect with over 350 attendees! - March 17 – Prostate Canada Step Up Challenge
The Step Up Challenge for Prostate Cancer Canada on Sunday, March 17 is an awareness and sponsorship event in which participants run up stairs in office tower stairwells (as a relay) in multiple towers within the downtown core. This is a great opportunity to donate items and market yourself directly to downtown office tenants. (100 attendees) - March 20 – International Day of Happiness
International Day of Happiness is on Wednesday, March 20 and we will be celebrating by having a table set up in Elevate and in our three office towers to greet office tenants in the morning. Our office and lunch-time demographic make up a majority of our consumer basis, therefore this is a great chance to showcase your brand. (250-350 attendees)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
We invite you to donate any items or gifts from your business. Think big or small and think of any way that you would like to promote your business to those who will be attending any of the above events or stopping by our tables. Giveaways could be anything such as:
- Large giveaway prizes
- Smaller giveaway items
- Samples of products
- Discount vouchers or coupons (to participate in all 3 events, please provide a minimum of 700 coupons)
- Gift cards or certificates
Feel free to be creative as this is a prime opportunity to promote your brand to a vested audience. You can provide as much or as little as you’d like – we will simply give out until we run out of your item. (Please no brochures, menus, flyers, or catalogues).
To confirm your participation please respond by the following deadlines:
- Teacher’s Convention – on or before Tuesday, February 19
- International Day of Happiness and Step Up – on or before Monday, March 4.

Let’s Ride! The Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Make-A-Wish Northern Alberta will be hosting an event on Thursday March 14, 2019 from 6am to 6pm in East Concourse. We invite you to participate by donation or giveaway to help showcase your business! This event will be a fundraiser focused on raising funds to give sick kids a fighting chance, renew their strength, and change their lives. Teams will embark on a 12-hour stationary bike ride at this energetic and fun-filled event.
To participate – think big or small and think of any way that you would like to promote your business to customers who will be attending this event. Giveaways could be anything such as:
- Door prize style giveaway packages (e.g. gift baskets, larger promotional packages)
- Smaller giveaway items, discount vouchers or coupons, and/or gift cards
- Onsite food & beverage services throughout the event day
